ABOUT US
Founded and run by two brothers... AJ and Bryan. Starlight Pianos is among the few remaining piano shops in Santa Cruz county and indeed the Bay Area, providing a range of fully serviced pianos... from budget-friendly options to premium masterpieces. Rather than a storefront, AJ and Bryan continue to operate exclusively in their workshop, nestled in the countryside of Corralitos. This greatly reduces overhead costs, which in turn allows them to offer lower prices. Similar businesses in the Bay Area don't have this advantage.
So they solved the dilemma between gambling on a questionable, free piano or spending top-dollar on a new piano... well, you can skip all that. If you found StarLight Pianos, then you likely found your piano... or so we hope : )

HOW IT STARTED
​
It all started some years ago in AJ's workshop. He had a business restoring & customizing vintage bicycles. Meanwhile his brother was developing an interest in pianos. Eventually the idea of restoring pianos was too intriguing to ignore. So the passions combined and Starlight Pianos was born.

It was an inspiring time... the brothers dedicated themselves to finding treasures of the past and restoring them to top form. The goal being that one could pull up a seat to a piano without issue, and delve into the enchanted world within. Their philosophy of thoroughness, precision and honesty has since brought their business to popularity. Now, in addition to unique pianos of the old-world, Starlight Pianos has expanded to include quality late model pianos.​
